&lt;p&gt;As you can see, it is a really beautiful compound because of the color of its deep-blue crystals.&lt;span&gt;It is widely used in labs, it&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; converts to &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;copper(II) oxide&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;, which is used as &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;catalyst&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; for a variety of processes in &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;organic chemistry&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;.
